Youth Pathways

The Upskill the Youth Programme is a dynamic youth development initiative delivered by 2inspire Academy CIC, designed to empower young people through personal growth, creative expression, employability support, and real-world experience.

The pilot programme was launched in February 2026 through funding support from the Black Cultural Collective and successfully completed in May 2026. Following the positive impact and engagement from young people, the programme is intended to officially relaunch in September 2026, subject to further funding.

​

Held every Friday from 6pm–8pm at the Unity Lounge & Bar, Sporting Club Thamesmead, the programme creates a safe, engaging and inspiring environment where young people can develop practical skills, build confidence, and explore pathways into employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

Through a structured programme of workshops, mentoring, and hands-on learning, participants are supported to grow both personally and professionally while connecting with positive role models, local opportunities, and real-world experiences within their community.

The programme combines:

• Self Development – including mindset, leadership, confidence building, and financial wellbeing

• Creative Media – photography, videography, content creation, and digital skills

• Pathways to Employment – CV preparation, interview skills, work experience, and on-the-job training

• DJ Skills & Showcase Preparation – music mixing, technical skills, and live event preparation
